Alumni Interactive Session – Mathematics Dept.
PG and Research Department of Mathematics organized Alumni interactive Session on 4.10.23. Mr.K.Rajavel, who is studying M.Sc in IISER, Trivandram was the resource person.He shared his experience on preparation for competitive exams like JAM, NBHM and IIT. It motivates the students for their higher studies.
Alumni Interactive Session – Alumni Association
On behalf of our Alumni Association we arranged an interactive session with our Additional collector Miss.R.Ishwarya IAS who has achieved IAS office cadre in her 24th age. She shared her experience for preparing civil service exams and how to face interview in the Civil Service exam. More than 150 students eagerly participated and clarified their doubts. She explained the facilities which are available in our state. Our alumni President Mr.Rajesh Thillai welcomed the gathered and our senior alumini Mr.Gurusamy introduced the resource person. The program was concluded with the Vote of thanks given by Alumni Dr.Mathana Gopal.
Alumni Day Celebrations Mathematics Dept.
On behalf of the mathematics department, alumni day was celebrated in a very grand manner. Singing competitions, Elocution, maths quiz were conducted. Prizes were given to all academic winners and cultural activities. We express our deep condolences to the sad demise of Mr.Muniappan, sir. The program was arranged by 1994 to 1997 batch students in a good manner. Mrs.G.Ramalakshmi madam was honoured by the alumni who is going to retire. More than 65 students participated.
Awareness Program on Drug Abuse and Smartphone Addictions – Alumni Association
On behalf of our alumni Association, we organized an awareness program on drug abuse and smartphone addictions. The resource person Dr.S.Sivasilam, senior psychiatrist, threw the lights on the usage of drugs spoils their health and future. He explained how to get out of the habit. He suggested some precautions to avoid the drugs and the addiction of smartphones. More than 150 students from economics and history development participated and benefited.
